Here the chords and progressions already covered are combined into more substantial worked examples. I've chosen Mingulay Boat Song / Atlantic Rollers because ...
I used to perform them capo-ed up into D, but here I've arranged them in C, reasoning that the simpler the notation, the more the mind is free to concentrate on the tuning itself.
So here is Mingulay arranged for Open C in music and tab. I suggest building it up by beginning with just the chord sequences, then gradually adding in detail.
When that is mastered, try the more difficult Atlantic Rollers. You need good callouses on your left-hand finger tips to cope with the sliding, particularly on the second string, which, being tuned up a semitone, tends to cut in more than usual!
